A few years after Lionel Batuo Egbe surrendered his life to the LORD Almighty, Jesus Christ and became a Born Again Christian, he noticed two major trends that unsettled him:

First, he watched several very talented aspiring Gospel artists and bands give their heart and soul to singing praise and worship melodies in their Church choirs, in a way that often sends chills down the spines of many and brings down the Presence of the Holy Ghost. But most often than not, even after such wonderful display of their singing gift, majority of these gifted Gospel music aspirants usually return home feeling like there's little or no hope for them to make a discent living out their talent.

The result?

Many of them have been forced to completely abandon their noble calling or treat it as a side passion, in order to pursue other endeavours, so as to be able to cater for themselves and their loved ones.  

Furthermore, he also noticed that more than 80% of Gospel artists and bands in Africa, who are presently making waves and earning a descent living from their art, are affiliated with renowned ministeries like Christ Embassy, Omega Fire Ministry - just to name a few. 

These observations call for a serious need to encourage unsigned, as well as upcoming Gospel artists and bands, to give their all to glorify GOD Almighty through their singing gift, and help them make a descent living from it. 

Not only is this going to give new hope to these Gospel artists and bands who are not sure of ever profiting from their calling, it will also enable them pursue this calling with greater love, passion, commitment and dedication, and provide the opportunity for more souls to be won, as well as for greater glory to be given to the LORD Almighty.
